IMA Rambaug Hospital
Gandhidham - Kutch • A Symbol of Compassion, Professionalism, and Social Responsibility.
Enduring Commitment
Established in place of the collapsed Government Hospital during the devastating 2001 Kutch earthquake and subsequently handed over to the government, IMA Rambaug Hospital stands as an active tribute to the resilience of the people of Kutch and IMA Gujarat's enduring dedication to community healthcare.
Modern Facilities
Rebuilt with the vision of providing affordable, accessible, and high-quality healthcare. The hospital is equipped with modern infrastructure including emergency response, trauma care, outpatient (OPD) clinics, inpatient wards, diagnostic laboratories, and surgical suites.
Rebuilding Gandhidham's Healthcare Lifeline
Following the catastrophic 2001 Kutch earthquake that destroyed Gandhidham's primary medical infrastructure, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Gujarat State Branch undertook the immediate responsibility of constructing a replacement hospital to deliver critical and general healthcare to survivors.
Dedication by Union Ministry
The hospital was formally inaugurated in February 2003 by Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria, then Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
