Dear IMA Colleagues,

I’d like to extend my best wishes for a very happy, healthy, and wealthy new year. As is common knowledge, the only thing in this world that is constant is change. At GIMACON 2023, the succession of leaders will be seen once more. Under the capable direction of our deserving president, Dr Mahaveersinh Jadeja, a complete year had passed. And on 28th October 2023, with the blessings of Seniors and your unwavering love and support, I proudly take on the role of President of the IMA GSB.

Lord Somnath, Lord Dwarkadhish, Maa Khodal, and Maa Umiya have always given me the opportunity and blessing to take on a variety of roles, including those of President of the Gujarat Association of ENT Surgeons, Chairman of the State Conference of ENT, Chairman of GIMACON 2016, District Governor of the Lions Club, and various other NGOs. Accepting the position of President of the IMA GSB for the academic year 2023–2024 makes me feel incredibly fortunate and proud. All of this is made possible by the JOSH and Affection of my RAJKOT IMA Parivar’s 2000+ members. IMA is now dealing with a number of pressing concerns on a state and national level, including the NMC, generic drugs, nursing home act, ire safety, BU permission, assaults on doctors, etc. Our capable leadership has always played a crucial role in bringing all of these concerns before the appropriate authority and being able to express our point of view. I can assure you that I will follow in the steps of our great leaders and actively contribute my time, energy, and resources to solving all the issues our fraternity is currently dealing with. At the same time, I will uphold our professional ethics, a compassionate attitude toward our patients, and empathy for the less fortunate members of our society.
