We really enjoyed GIMACON 2016at Rajkot. It was really Excellent and Memorable. Kudos to IMA Rajkot Team. Gujarat State Branch IMA installation was really Blessed with the Great News regarding Dr. B. C. Roy National Awardees immediately after our installation.
It is our proud privilege that our Four Eminent Members of Gujarat State Branch IMA will receive Dr. B. C. Roy National Awards. These Awards will be given by the President of India around January 2017.
We are very happy to announce their names, Our Beloved Past National President Dr. Jitendra B. Patel for his Outstanding services in the field of Socio Medical Relief and other three Members are Dr. Parimal M. Desai, Eminent Opthalmologist, Dr. Haresh P. Bhalodiya, Eminent Joint Replacement Surgeon and Dr. Janak Desai, Eminent Urologist for the Best Talents in encouraging the development of specialities in different branches of Medicine.
It is a Big Achievement and Gujarat State Branch IMA is proud for their Abilities.
We are also very lucky that we witnessed the Historical Event on  21st October 2016, at Taipei, Taiwan, where first ever Indian and Our Visionary Leader Dr.Ketanbhai Desai has installed as a President of World Medical Association (WMA).
More than Seventy Members of Gujarat State Branch IMA were fortunate to attend World Medical Association General Assembly and witnessed the Presidential Installation Ceremony of World Medical Association
(WMA) of Respected Dr. Ketanbhai Desai.
On behalf of Gujarat State Branch IMA,we heartily congratulate our Beloved Leader Respected Dr.Ketanbhai Desai and wish him a great success for his tenure. Under his able leadership and guidance, the medical fraternity will become more vibrant and helpful to each and every part of society and community at large will be benefited.

You may aware that IMA is always taking care for the interest of medical fraternity and as part of that IMA (HQ)has given call for STOP NMC, SAVE MEDICAL PROFESSION and IMA SATYAGRAH– DHARNA on 16th November 2016.
Gujarat State Branch IMAtook the initiative and gave call to each and every local branch to organize IMA Satyagrah – Dharna. At the end of Satyagrah and Dharna,IMA Leaders of Local Branches gave the memorandum to Government Authority at local level and released the press notes.
We appreciate and heartily congratulate IMA Leaders of each and every local branches for successfully arranging IMA Satyagraha – Dharna with a large number of participants. It is a right time to show our unity, strength and
solidarity as far as interest of medical fraternity is concerned. It will be remained as a turning point in the history of IMA.
